What Is NDA

NDA is India's foremost Join Training Institution which works to prepare Junior Officers for the Indian Armed Forces.  NDA trains young men who choose Armed Forces as their career.

This training equips the students with the mental, moral and physical attributes required to deal with the challenges of future war zones.

They are given good education in science, technology, art and other military subjects. 

When their 3 year course is over which is divided into 6 months semesters, 1 cadet is awarded a graduation degree from Jawaharlal University JNU.

During this course i.e. after spending 3 years in NDA, a student emerges as a potential officer and gentleman.

 After completing 3 years, they are sent to IMA, Army Cadet to IMA for 1 year of training, Naval Cadet to Naval Academy for 1 year and Air Force Cadet to Air Force Academy in Hyderabad for one and a half year.

The NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). NDA entrance exam is conducted twice every year by the National Defense Academy for recruitment to the Indian Army, Indian Navy, and Indian Force.

After successfully completing 3 years, an army cadet is sent to the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun.

Novel cadets are sent to the Indian Naval Academy which is in Ezhimala. Those who are Air Force cadets are processed at the Air Force Academy, Pune, Hyderabad.

What Is The Full Form Of NDA

NDA we have a military academy and would have become capable of military training in military training.

NDA full form is "National Defense Academy" .

 This academy is a government academy and if passed through it, the students can go to the army very easily and simply.

How To Join NDA

To join the National Defense Academy, a candidate has to appear in an entrance examination conducted by the Union Public Service Commission.

 It has two exams in the month of April and September i.e. twice in a year its exam is conducted in which you have to appear.

 Any candidate who wants to apply for this exam should be unmarried.

 To join NDA, it is necessary to appear in SSB, Medical, and then in the merit list.

 NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria

If you want to join NDA, then for this you have to fulfill some essential qualifications, only after which you can give NDA exam. What should be the eligibility for NDA, you have been told in further detail about it.

Candidate should be 10 or 12th pass from any recognized school.

Candidate should be a citizen of India.

 

Candidate must be unmarried.

 

Candidate's minimum age should be between 16.5 years and maximum age should be between 19 years.

 Candidate should be physically and mentally fit.

 

The minimum height of the candidate should be 157 cm.

Important Tips For Passing The NDA Exam

Make a proper time table to pass NDA exam and follow the same time table daily.

 

Make a time table for all subjects and study accordingly, pay more attention to weak subjects.

 

Choose best books for NDA exam and take help of internet

 

Make maths subject strong, study and understand maths subject well in 11th and 12th

 

Solve previous year question papers of NDA exam and solve sample papers so that you will have an idea for the exam.

                               

NDA Exam Pattern

The exam is conducted offline and all the questions are MCQs. The NDA exam has a total of 900 marks.

 

A total of 270 questions are asked on 120 questions on mathematics and 150 questions on general intelligence.

In mathematics, 2.5 marks are given for each correct answer and 0.83 marks are deducted for wrong answer.

Also English subject is asked 50 questions for 200 marks and General Science subject is asked 100 questions for 400 marks.

 

Wrong answers in English and General Science are reduced by 1.33 marks.
